I began painting as a sophomore in high school and went on to study Studio Art in College.  After graduating I took a corporate job and put all my paints aside  for a few years.

In February of 2010 I had the good fortune to travel  to Mexico with a group of wonderful ladies and kayak different rivers with an organization called Girls at Play.  It was on that trip that I  began craving to live with purpose and passion.  After returning from the trip painting became the natural response to transfer a renewed love of life.

Rivers are what inspire me and as a result they are typically what you will find in my portfolio.  They are wild at times, strong, challenging, humbling, alive and inspiring.  They are also one of our most precious and often endangered resources.  I strive to capture the beauty of the rivers where I play and dream about playing, and hope to be a passionate advocate of everything they represent.  Thank you for coming and enjoy your visit.
